"An assassin!? Yufa, you can't be serious!" Jack screamed and slammed his hand on the desk.

"I am... deadly serious..." Yufa stared back at him through his scarred face, crossing his fingers, "I am getting tired of covering for you. Your contract has been shifted and you will now work with the royal guards in this upcoming war."

"I'd rather die then play the guards faithful pet!" Jack screamed, swiping his hand over the desk and knocking everything off in fury, "I can't believe you'd do this to me! After all I've done! After all my parents have done!"

"Your parents were as much a burden on this sect than you were! I should have traded them like I'm trading you now! They were reckless and calculating, just like you! They never thought of the politics in this business!"

"What politics!? We're thieves!!" Jack yelled at the top of his lungs. Just then, the door exploded behind them, showing a group of royal guards. Jack turned around and gasped, then looked back at Yufa. Softening his voice, realizing his time was done, he spoke, "Don't do this Yufa..." he said and stared into his eyes, "I promise, if you go through with this, you will be sorry..."

Yufa didn't even flinch. He stood up and waved over the guards, "This is him," he said, "Take him away."

The guards rushed in and pulled Jack out of the room, taking him towards the castle to dress him in the new royal guard garb he will be wearing.
