The whir of the boats engine was enough to give annoy the already potent headache Alondel had woken up with. It was a small price to pay for individuality though. Most of the kids going to Moonlit Bay came from wealthy or at least well off families and Alondel was no exception. The difference is most of them liked to show off their wealth with fancy yachts and even cruise ships. He even knew one girl who always arrived by helicopter. Alondel on the other hand never cared much for that, so just to shake things up in the conformity line he came to school on a motor boat; hand held over his face to block the spray of the ocean waves and the other steering him into the bay. Not that flashy, but that was kind of the point. Alondel would rather not stand out.

The engine whined down into a low buzz as the boat slowed and then finally cut off as Alondel drifted the watercraft into the harbor. The boat came to a halt next to the dock and Alondel tethered it to the nearest post. The wiccan swept his bag out of the boat and headed off towards the school hoping his headache would die down and he wouldn't have to curse any jocks today. All things considered; luck usually wasn't on his side.
