Kouichi got up slowly from his bed, making sure to turn off the alarm clock, which had been signaling the time at which he should wake up each morning. He made his bed before walking into his bathroom and looking in his mirror as he brushed his teeth. His reflection stared back at him, bored and straight-faced. He looked a bit pale, but far from as sick as he could be. He splashed a bit of water on his face and got dressed before grabbing a couple of things and heading out his door.

As he walked to school, he made sure to avoid any path that would take him anywhere near a hospital. Memories of such a place were far from welcomed. Instead, he took a longer path, and upon his arrival at the school promptly went to class. However, instead of going in, he leaned against the wall outside the classroom. "I wonder... if she'll be here today..." He mumbled, more to himself than anything. He could hear the sound of voices inside the classroom, but none were the one he was searching for.
