Serenity sat quietly in her crate as she always did…day after day…month after month…year after year. When would this captivity end? She longed to be outside…more than her small allotted time. She wanted to have fun, everything she did was for testing, for once she just wanted to go outside and relax. Her canine spirit was being repressed…the freedom of being outdoors, the wind through her hair letting it flow through the soft auburn fur on her tail. She could feel it now…the rush of adrenaline, she couldn’t take it anymore she had to get out.

She thrashed her small, delicate form around the crate slamming her feet against the door of the crate. She cried out in a mix of howls and English curses as she tried to free herself. Her commotion, of course, did not go unnoticed. In no time a group of men in those dreadful white lab coats sunk a needle deep into that arm of hers. She thrashed once more…then twitched as she fell unconscious to the wave of terrible thoughts that always seemed to run through those sick minds.

The white coats had a terrible problem with bravery…they had none. Their solution to problems was to eliminate the problems…wonderful right? Well they looked upon with devlish smirk as the female curled up in the ever so cramped crate….satisfied with their handy work apparently. They wanted to be rid of her, but she was far too valuable. And besides her rebellious streak had almost been quelled….and would be before too much longer. One would think a scientist would have better things to do than to stare at a genetically modified wolf-girl while tossing around idle banter….I suppose these scientists didn’t.
