"Hmmmm..." Spencer mused, "...well, is she definitely asleep...?"

He shuffled over quietly to look closer. He was satisfied that she was definitely away with the fairies, in which case he had an idea.

"OK I'm gonna try somethin'", he said to Ashley, "I done this before when I was dossin' at a friend's house who 'ad a big cat who 'ad issues with sharin' the couch."

He grabbed his backpack, placed it next to Ashley level to where Misa's head was laying on her lap. He then sat down on the opposite side of Ashley, and bid her to place her hand on the outside of his bag.

"OK you'll just 'ave to excuse me a moment cariad..."

Spencer curled his near-side arm around Ashley's waist - for a brief moment his concentration was diverted by the fact that she still smelled quite nice for someone who had been roughing it in a derelict building for a day - then, back to his senses, slid his other hand under Misa's head, giving her a very gentle stroke behind her ear (it had, after all, helped to placate the cat that one time...). Once happy that she was still fast asleep,he lifted her head oh-so-slightly. He then counted up to three in a whisper, and with a twist he pulled on Ashley's waist, sliding her towards him, so that in turn her hand pulled his backpack in the same direction, whilst Spencer's other hand kept Misa's head where it was. The end result was that Misa was sleeping with her head on Spencer's pack, and Ashley was free.

"Ddim drwg if I do say so mayself." Spencer said quietly with a satisfied smirk.
