Jo already located the shortest path to the door where they had come from. The only thing keeping her from leaving was a little annoying bit of conscious she had left. She didn't really care for these people, or the werewolf for that matter, but she knew she would most likely be dead without their help so she forced herself to stay and fight a little longer. Call it gratitude, if you will.
She didn't know what happened to the shard until she heard someone say it was safe. "Game over", she'd heard the girl say. Jo didn't know about the others, but she was through with the fun, and... If she was expected to go on another one of these 'missions' they'd better make her care about these stupid shards, or she wouldn't move another finger.

She watched as the cat-girl came back and found the twins, one of them seemed pretty hurt. She nodded in disbelief when seeing that she had made it out of that mess and returned. That girl was extremely brave or very stupid... Maybe both. Jo let out a sigh, thinking that was not the best combination with this group of airheads. "Hey!" she yelled, so the girl would hear her. "Get yourself and your partners out of here and I'll make sure no one gets left behind."

Maybe it wasn't exactly what Jo wanted to do at that moment, but other than a few scratches and exhaustion, she was just fine. And that girl had done more than her fair share this time. She did hope the others would get a move on towards the exit. She didn't feel like staying in that town another minute.
