Light's vision faded even more; a hot, pulsing pain coming from his shoulder. He ignored all but the fact that he how had three limbs... The pain in itself was unbearable but to Light, it was faintly familiar.

He looked to Ryuk as he handed him a gun. Past the pain and the lightheadedness, Light was able to feel confused, "What the hell... am I going to do... with a... gun?!" Light panted, coughing out some dark red blood. Suddenly, it dawned on him, and he turned to look at Rika, “You…” he coughed, “You are the cause… of all of this… aren’t you?” he asked, the very act of talking—and breathing—caused his shoulder to hurt even more that Light had ever thought possible. Not even his death was this painful… Light started to sway; the feeling of extreme blood loss was way too familiar. Light, who was fighting to stay standing, never moved his gaze from Rika’s eyes; he needed answers from her and he was running out of time…
