Rika stared at him intently.
"I'm being generous and you ask me why? That's not very gentlemanly." Slowly she removed her own hand from the gun, making it appear that she would have no way to stop Light if he did shoot her. "You need to kill someone every day. And in case you haven't figured it out everyone here is already dead. Including you. I don't usually do things like this for other users... and with that attitude I'm not sure why I'm bothering to be generous to you now."
Rika's voice sounded hurt, even though she was enjoying watching his torment. His hand was shaking badly and from the look in his eyes she knew this boy couldn't possibly last long. She was starting to wonder what his purposes for killing had been when he was alive, clearly he didn't care about making people suffer but he must have had some reason.
"Just shoot. Moving targets are harder to catch so best take your opportunity now and get today over with."
Would he be able to do it? Something told her that he would, soon, but not right now. For now, he would just have to make his own decision. It would be interesting if he did, although she knew that, if he wanted to, Shi would still be able to stop the bullet even at this close proximity. It was all a test on whether the boy had the nerve to kill.
