Commissar Cain stood in a command tent watching the 3D display of the battle. The front it seemed was tied down although they were having few casualties which struck him as odd, and his palms began to sweat a common sign that things were about to get bad. Only 2nd platoon's Guardsmen were on the front at the moment as he ordered the Leman Russes to remain behind along with the other platoons in order to punch a hole when the moment came but that wouldnt be for awhile. Sniper teams with Longlas rifes were position on the ridges surrounding the battle picking off enemies soldiers and keeping a watch out for enemy movement. The Chimeras were also waiting along with the Leman Russ in order to deliver reinforcements in the form of 3rd platoon.

He tapped the screen zooming in on the enemy commander. It was strange for the Xeno to have the courage to openly show themselves on the battle and he thought it was completely stupid having been in that same position numerous times before. He tapped his Vox (communications device) in his ear and ordered the Valkyries to take flight. They would be launching a missile strafing run on all the enemy heavy weapons as well as dropping off squads of storms troopers into the fray in the midst of the enemy ranks.

He contiuned to watch the screen for any changes, but for the most part the enemies fates were sealed. He turned his head and ordered that 4th platoon and their chimeras go and reinforce the right position as well as bring in some heavy weapon teams with some Heavy Bolters to return heavy fire after the Valkyries had finished with their mission. The Valkyries made excelent drop ships since they did not have to slow or stop to drop of their cargo of elite Storm Troopers.
