Solom felt sadness in seeing so many of his dead brothers-in-arms, and even more in having to kill the zombie Solarz. The Aerial Troopers had already flown away when the retreat order was given, and some of the infantry did manage to get away in the transports. The tanks would drive around the rubble, and would return to base, killing bugs along the way. Solom has a personal transport ready, piloted by an AI, got on-board, and flew back to base. He has no idea exactly how many of his soldiers died, but he would find out once he returned to base.
