Neal looked at Syvin quizzically for a moment. "Bleeding...?" The adrenaline running through his system had only just started to wear off, so he had no idea he was bleeding. He brought a paw up to his head, and felt around a little, finding a tender spot and a tacky liquid. He then looked at his paw, noticing the red. "Oh." He changed into his human form and took the bottle of salve from Syvin, he watched the goings-on as he applied the salve. Afterwards, he set the bottle down next to him and sat cross-legged, looking at his blood-covered hand. "You know you've been injured too many times when the sight of your own blood doesn't affect you." He smiled grimly, not really caring if anyone heard what he said. "Oh yeah, my hat..." He mumbled and stood up, then proceeded to walk back towards where he dropped his hat. "I'll be back in a moment." He wasn't exactly walking steady, however, partly due to the minor concussion, and partly from the adrenaline wearing off. He returned a few minutes later, wearing his gray baseball cap.
