Rika watched Shi as he brushed her hair back, smiling at what he said.
For some reason, it helped her relax for him to say she should have been a Shinigami, that she shouldn't be human. Her faith in humanity had been lost years ago, any kind of break from it was a welcome relief.
Nodding slowly, she watched as he changed to Shinigami form again, taking comfort as she felt him coil around her.
"Thank you Shi." She murmured, closing her eyes gently and slowly drifting off in his embrace.
What would she do without Shi... He had gave her an escape all those years ago and now he was her only real companion. Even if a user came to the Black Bath House who could actually rival her abilities and ruthlessness, even if they were her superior in every way, no one could ever replace Shi.
And any who tried... they just wouldn't last long.
