Mama, mama, why can't I go out? Nana told me I could have friends if I go out. A young girl of five stared innocently at a brown-haired woman lounging on an armchair. A man was sat by her side as he flipped a few pages of the newspaper in his hand. "No, no, my little doll... What if something happen to you? Do you want to break mommy and daddy's heart?" Her mother replied as she moved a hand over to her heart as if to make a point.

"But mommy..." The young child whined but her mother wouldn't hear any of it. "Now dear, listen to your mother. We don't want to be 'tainted'by the little devils now do we?" The man smiled sweetly, as sweet as freshly made honey yet... it seemed more like aged wine. She was trapped...

"Yes mother...."

"Yes mother..." A soft murmur came from the blond's lips as she stared out the window. Clouds rushed by the plane like rush hour in Manhattan. Her mind lost in her old memories. She never understood her parents.... maybe it was some genetic insanity... Yeah... Genetic... The young girl thought sourly. An hour passed before they finally announced they were landing.
