Eric had a great sense of distain for this man that so glibly ignored Eric’s words. Who did he think he was just leaving the door open and turning his back to Eric? A younger more impulsive Eric would of attacked in that moment. But the years of battle had been long and as much as he wanted to go home, right now he choose not to fight.

As Eric venture out of his room he couldn’t help admiring the architecture and paintings of this castle. Eric had been in many castles, but none that looked like this. The stone was so well cut, the carpets was rich in colour and the banister of the near by stairs gleamed. Eric turns his head back to the his capture who had opened a door. Past him he could see a youthful woman. The rage in Eric’s soul dipped as he felt sympathy for the woman. Eric was a battle hardened warrior and even to him this was a unnerving situation. How worse must it be for her.

“Why?” the woman asks.

Eric not wanting the woman to think he had anything to do with this kidnapping, he walks into clearer view to speak. “Yes, why have you kidnapped us? Wrenched us from our homes?” Eric much calmer now again waited for a response. However he expecting the same reply as before.
