Jessica had seen him slope towards her, his face coming closer as her cheeks went a bright red and she too had inclined her head towards him as she was glowing red from embarrassment. But when they heard voices; her heart jolted and she looked down towards the path and then she would look over at him and grown. "Damn. That just sucks.... I was having a good time." she said and then she laughed nervously and nodded. "Alright... I guess we should." she slowly stood up, taking his hand and pulling him up before letting go and looking at him with a shy smile.
"Text me and tell me how it goes with your parents. I'll have to convince my cousin I was out hiking or something. He gets skeptical... but I hope things work out. I think you'd like Kinzie Cove." she said with a smile at him.
