Jake took a bite of the meal set before him and gave an approving nod. "Top Quality Grim." He said. He turned to see Kairen fiddling with her food, looking very uncomfortable. They all did at first, but all of them also grew used to the castle after a while. He set his fork down and decided it was time to explain the reason Kairen and Eric were brought here. "Kairen, I know you don't remember me yet, but we talked at the church a couple times. I believe I owe you and Eric some answers so I'll grant you that." He cleared his throat.

"A long time ago there was a brother and sister who hated the idea of love. They killed a woman who was in love. This woman however was the girlfriend of a Dark Magic Dweller, who was outraged with the death of his girlfriend. He hunted the siblings down and captured them, bringing them to his castle and cursing them. This curse was unique and used very seldom by Dark Magic Dwellers for it killed whoever used it. It turned the siblings ageless and trapped them into the castle until the could find love. To accomplish this, every ten years the brother was allowed to leave the castle for one month, and retrieve a male and female to bring to the castle, however if he stayed out more then a month, he would die, leaving his sister trapped in the castle and ageless forever. For years the brother traveled and brought people that he had found might accomplish the task, but it had always ended with the two leaving." He kept out that they went insane and committed suicide. "After finally wishing to be loved and die with the person they are in love with, the siblings try ever harder. They have learned from their mistakes and now realize that they must be careful with the ones in the castle."

He stopped. "We are the siblings in the story I just told. We have been alive longer then we should ever have. I'm sure you don't believe me or even think we are crazy, but it is true. I'm also sorry that you aren't able to leave the castle grounds. If you try you will be met by an invisible topless wall." he sighed. "I'm sure you must be feeling mixed feelings about what I have told you, but I reassure you, while your here, no harm will come to you, you will be provided with whatever you need, and you are free to traverse the castle all you wish."
