Max woke up to the sound of a droid waking her, which startled her. She fell out of her bed and landed on her floor with a soft bump that seemed to reverberate throughout her simple room. She glanced up at it and internally cussed at herself; it was sloppy of her to have not noticed the strangely polite thing enter the room. If her reflexes had been this dull she would have been dead by now. She shook her head, trying to get the thoughts of her mind before she stood up and swiftly ran her fingers through her hair.

"Yes?" She asked the thing, clearing her throat when her voice came out scratchy and unpleasant.

"Your presence is required in the Dining room in one hour, Master Romulus requests it." He told her, his strangely polite way of speaking still managed to cause her to shudder. She should have been used to it by now but she wasn't. She nodded at the thing and watched it as it left with a strangely stiff posture. She sighed once it left and grabbed her usually clothing for missions and sauntered off to her shower, wanting to get ready for the day. She knew that if she was late for the meeting she would get a dirty glare from Romulus and she hated dirty glares.

She finished getting ready and looked at her clock on the counter, the blinking, red numbers telling her she had only taken twenty minutes to get ready. She sighed softly and grabbed her ipod, sticking one of the buds into her ear before she started playing some Alice Cooper, her fingers drumming along with the beat on her bare thigh. She left her room and walked down to the dining room, wanting to busy herself until the hour was up. She knew for a fact that Romulus would be there and he was a pretty good conversationalist when he wanted to be.

She opened the door of the dining room and sat down on the chair to the left of Romulus, grabbing an apple that was at the spot as well as some green herbal tea; at least the droids knew her well. She wasn't certain if that was a good thing or bad. Instead she just glanced over at him and smiled, hoping to shake the unamused look off of his face. "What's new Romulus. Anything interesting?" She took another bite out of her apple. "I mean, I had a pretty wicked dream last night. It was pretty cool, a bit creepy though." She stated, taking a sip of her tea and giving him another grin.
