Serenity slowly opened her eyes as the effects of the medicine began to wear off. Such a powerful sedative had left her in a daze as she tried to wake herself up a bit more. The whole room seemed so cloudy to her as she lay, curled up in her crate. Her whole body felt weak and limp…the medicine taking a couple hours to fully wear off. She did notice her guard and just a couple scientists in the room,not very concerned with her at this point.

In a way she wished she would have stayed asleep…she dreamed she heard unfamiliar thoughts…thoughts of saving her. She blinked a bit, not wanting to get her hopes up. She had heard the scientists multiple times speaking and thinking of the high grade of security in the building. She paused…those thoughts were still there, and she was awake. Were she still not under the effects of the sedation she might have squealed with excitement, but then again the security here was awful tight or so she thought. With a sigh she curled back up and closed her eyes, hoping maybe it might not be a dream…that her heroes were indeed coming to rescue her.
