"Excellent."
Jin stood a top the skateboard ramp, poised to enter. The only thing stopping him was the breeze. He enjoyed the cool breeze on his face. He never knew why, but the feeling of wind on his face always seemed.....right, in one way or another. He looked down over the school grounds and the kids that were just leaving school. Some of them looked up at the crazy exchange student on the roof, but most left after a few minutes. Jin had never thought it was a bad idea to build a ramp on the roof. It was a win win for him. The kids t the skate park were assholes. Always smoking and drinking and trying to mess hiim up on tricks because he was foreign. Though, he knew he didn't look like most Japanese people, but they could still tell. So he got to be all by himself, which is how it has been his entire life and he didn't care much. The other win was being this close to the clouds. Jin loved the sky and the wind. It was so free, that's all he ever wanted to be was as free as a bird on the breeze. He hoped one day he could be in the airforce, or at least get a pilot's license.
Jin then looked back at the task at hand. He took a deep breath and entered the ramp. He went back and forth for awhile to build up momentum, then started launching himself in the air, doing more complicated tricks. He followed this pattern while he thought. He thought about why the other kids didn't really like him. At first he knew it was because he was a Japanese exchange student and they thought he was going to show off his amazing knowledge and curve the grading average. But, this was not so, because Jin was no scholar. He did rather average in the class. Yet, still no one talked to him and he wondered why? If they would only tel him, so he could understand what he did wrong. Not that he really cared much about it, he was mostly curious. He snapped out of thought when the ramp began to shake.
hen he came back down on one side, it shook violently. When he already landed on the other side, the side that shook's support beam had come loose and the ramp fell a bit and angled the other side. It was too late to stop by the time he had realized what just happened. He shot off the broken side like it was launching ramp. He flew out over the courtyard of the school. He then began to fall all 4 stories down to ground. He thought,
This isn't what I had in mind, I can't die now. I have to do more than what Ive already done. I have to see more. Then, he smiled.
Oh well, can't deny my fate, at least they'll say i went out, with a smile on my face.
