Soul's hair shimmered in the sunlight that peeked through his blinds of his window. His dark purple eyes were fixed on the screen of his laptop, he had his chin resting on the palm of his hand. Music played softly through his headphones. His finger slowly moving downwards on the scroll of his mouse. He could feel his eyes becoming heavy within every hour since he began his research on the computer. Souls head shifted to the side, his hand ran through his golden hair, his eyes now staring at the reason why he was up all night researching. It was a dark purple egg shaped stone. The stone coincidentally matching the color of his eyes. The stone gave off a glowing effect to it. Soul has never seen anything like it, he was determine to find out what it was.
He leaned back on his chair closing his eyes, letting out a deep sigh, his eyes reopening. "Why the hell can't i find anything about this stone," he looked at the purple stone, "Or egg," he added clearly frustrated about the situation. Why he needed to find out what it was so bad, he had no idea, he could only feel his body deeply drawn to it in a weird way. He found the egg next to a mutilated body of a dog, in an alley yesterday. The image of the dog came back to mind, he grabbed the stone squeezing it as hard as he can, trying to relive his anger. He knew the dog was abused by someone, he hated how disgusting the human race was becoming. "If only there was a way to get rid of all the low lives that this earth is infested with," he said to himself in a dark tone. He looked back at the stone in his hand placing it back on his desk, it rolled a short distance before coming to a full stop. Soul took off his headphones placing them next to the stone. His eyes then again became fixed to the laptop. "If only," he said quietly.
