He turns and strapped his gun across his chest; they needed him for now so he could relax a bit, "I would agree with your making of hammocks but the fungus could transfer to that; and we would need two of them to keep May separate", he looked at May directly, "and if you have things at the pond to eat then depending on the distance it would probably be a waste to look here", he looks around slightly completely ignoring the human bodies as a food source, "The faster we get you fed and them cured, the faster I can get information from you on the location of Mr. Icheru." he kneels down next to May and, after carefully putting her on her back, slips his bulky and somewhat calloused hands under the mermaid's back and knees. "I am going to pick you up on three, I will do it slowly and tell me if anything hurts; ready? One. Two. Three." He slowly, but very easily and securely, uses his forearms to lift her up, holding her across his chest. After he stands up fully he looks down at her, "Everything alright?".
