Aria smiled slightly at Pandora's thanks. "It was no problem..." she trailed off, her hands almost immediately stopping their movement in her lap. Her eyes found his, and the girl couldn't help but be slightly caught in their sights. His eyes, while she could see them before, seemed to bore more into her now; they were the most brilliant green color she had ever seen, and she found herself slightly jealous of the color. She would have rather had them over her gold ones any day, as she figured green eyes would be quite striking with red hair.
Her smile grew though as she took in the full view of his face. She had been right; he was quite handsome. And while that didn't really matter in the long run, she figured it would at least help her get used to this relationship a bit more. Not that she didn't want it...
And Pandora's question had a lot to do with that.
His question caught her off guard - she had been expecting him to ask her sooner or later, but she had not counted on it being this soon. 'Well, I was the first one to drop the formalities' she thought, 'I guess I sort of brought this one on myself...'
It wasn't that she didn't want to answer the question; it was that she knew herself too well. She knew how fast she fell in love, and the girl hated admitting that fact. What would he think of her when he found out that she really had no qualms with this marriage?
"I don't know if you're expecting this answer, and I don't want it to change however you think of me in this moment," she began, her gaze shifting down before meeting his again. "But I actually did agree to this marriage. I wasn't really forced - of course, I was told this was to be happening, but I didn't really have any problem with it. And I still don't. You seem, to me, to be a kind person. You have yet to show me any reason to doubt this thought of mine, so it shall stay that way. And you're a gentlemen. You have manners. You obviously had a fine upbringing, and you can't really ask for more than that. And yet, I don't even know you... but I want this to work, because I want the opportunity to know you..." Her voice trailed off at the end, her eyes glancing away for a brief moment before turning back towards Pandora. "I hope you don't think I'm mad..." she said after a few moments, before a smile once again graced her features.
