Leo's eyes hardened as Secru seemed to be sarcastic in reply to his earlier comment about the spirits, not appreciating the man's tone in the slightest. This man knew nothing of him and had no place to make comments about his knowledge of the spirits. His demeanour seemed to darken as he looked at the man, not having wanted to mention Fior, but felt the need to prove to this man that he was speaking from fact.
"Nobody asked you to bow, it was a request for you to hush for a while so the rest of us could think without your voice ringing in the air." He replied, "And considering my bride-to-be delved into the spirit world daily to bring those in the living world comforting news about their recently deceased loved ones, I think I can safely say that I have more knowledge in the area than most warriors."

He glanced at Ira as Secru continued his path of annoyance her way, still unamused by his words. Could he do nothing better than to pick holes into things he knew nothing about? Did he not realise that he was not making the best first impressions - which were of course the ones that lasted longest.
"Your ego and disrespectful manner towards others will get you into deep water, sir." he added, turning his gaze back to the man as he unfolded his arms and indicated to Ira with his armour-free hand, "especially when you disrespect a woman who looks more than capable of killing anyone that insults her."

Leo did hate those who disrespected women, even more so now that he had Fior.
