I think Aunt Misty is the Gym leader now, I'm not sure, I haven't been home for a long time." He smiled at Bekki. He noticed Squirtle was drooling, watching Kisame eat his snack. Seth pulled out a jar and tossed it to him. "Here." Squirtle caught, tore off the lid and began stuffing his face. He listened to Bekki a little longer. "6 months, huh? I guess that is a long time. Squirtle and I have been partners for.......man, I forgot. I'm not really good at those kinds of things." Seth said with a smile while scratching the back of his head. He turned to Squirtle. "How long have we been partners Squirtle?" Squirtle stopped stuffing his face and began to think. He then remembered. "Squirtle.""Wow, really?......I guess it has been that long. Squirtle and I have been together for 5 years. I can't really remember a time when we weren't friends. I guess time flies when your having fun, huh bud?" Seth said with a smile to Squirtle. Squirtle gave him a wink and a thumbs up, "Squirtle!"

Seth looked back at Bekki, then to Kisame. Seth then reaches into his back pocket and pulls out the pokedex Professor Oak gave him. He gives a quick scan of Kisame, logs the information away and then turns back to Bekki. "I bet your wondering why Squirtle hasn't evolved yet. The thing is, he's afraid to. He's afraid the other Squirtles in the Squirtle Squad won't accept him if he turns into a Wartortle or a Blastoise. Ive tried to convince him otherwise but he won't listen. I don't mind though, i like him just the way he is, he will evolve when he is emotionally ready." He looked over and watched squirtle eat his snack. "He really is my best friend." He then shook his head and re-focused on Bekki. "Sorry about that. Any who, why did you join this school? I joined it to meet other Hot-shot trainers to battle and make friends with, pokemon included. What about you?"
