Maya covered her mouth as Kurt let go of his metal grip. Drake was kicking butt. He beat Kurt and Maya started to get tears in her eyes. She pulled back and held in her breath as Kurt got up. Staggering, he got up and came over to Tony who was giving Drake the same murderous stare. Kurt spat and cursed at the two of them. Tony backed up. "You'll pay for this! I'm going to find you and whoop your sorry ass," and with that last word tony started off. Kurt gave Drake the finger and Maya a glare of hate. He then smirked, "I'll be back baby. Don't worry," and then he too ran off. Even with a black eye and a swollen gut the man was still talking.
Once the men were out of sight, Maya burst out crying. She slid on the ground and whimpered. "I'm sorry," she whispered and stared at the ground. She had never felt so terrified and helpless in her life. She was brought up in a place where good was an excess and kindness was exploding from every corner. But now she was explosed to a more dangerous world. Was this the point of of the test?
