Isolde looked out through the window of her hotel room at the rain soaking the area. "Are they really dumb enough to launch in this?" She mumbled looking to the small black beeper in her hand displaying the "9090" code. She knew the consequences of failing to report, and she also knew the consequences of questioning her superiors. Sighing Isolde picking up her bag and grabbed the keys to her vehicle. 'Launching in a storm, what will they think of next?' She thought to herself as she loaded her things into the car. The rain hadn't let up for three days, and she was starting to think that they were being soaked by some sort of tropical system; after all it wasn't too terribly uncommon an event in the summer.

Climbing into the car, she headed for the Kennedy Space Center and the NASA shuttle launch area. There would be no turning back once she got there, and like anyone who might be faced with such a momentous task of the Mars Mission, was having second, third, and fourth thoughts on her decision to go. "Think about this logically, your going to a planet no one has set foot on, of course your going to be nervous, scared even." Isolde muttered as she pulled out of the parking lot.

Despite numerous missions, she always had the feeling that she should and needed to be grateful for every safe return home. Hopefully this time wouldn't be any different.
