Star then began laughing as Kiera pushed her into the corner. "That's what he said, but I had a feeling his parents were just feeding him bullshit because they hate me. He (they) said the demons were going to kick my ass." She laughed. "But I'm sure I'll be the last one standing." As she had been standing with Kiera, she didn't notice a tall, looming figure that made his way to the center of the ballroom. He was wearing a robe with a hood that covered his entire face with a shadow. ALl that could be seen were two green-gold eyes.

"Dearest contestants," the faceless person said. "Tomorrow is a day for training and it is past your curfew. I recomend you all return to your beds and say goodbye to your friends and famiiles. Be ready at dawn tomorrow." The second the last word was out o fhis mouth, the creature disappeared witout any signal that he was gone. No flash of light, no smoke, no cover of fire.
