Raeyna quickly jumped up at the sound of the bell, eager to be free from the banal history class. It was one of her least favorite subjects besides math because she just didnt see the point. I mean, why study history if you can just go back and see it? Raeyna rushed to her locker quickly, grabbing her books and immediately started the trek down to the bookstore. After a couple of blocks of walking, she reached the bookstore and entered in, seeing the smiles of her two elderly bosses, Lydia and Amanda. She went behind the counter and neatly placed her stuff on the ground, then quickly tied her hair in a ponytail, ready to work. "Dearie," one of her bosses, Lydia, began, "you're a half hour early."
"Oh!" she exclaimed, I'm sorry, I just rushed straight here from school and-"
"It's alright," her other boss, Amanda, reassured. "Why don't you go rest until your shift starts? Maybe read a book and relax, you look a little unwell."
After they had shooed Raeyna away, she strolled over to the "New Arrivals" section, browsing through the books to see if anything caught her eye. Now that they had mentioned it, Raeyna had been feeling a tad bit...odd lately. Somewhat out-of-place as a matter of fact. With a frown, she grabbed one of the more interesting looking books and went to read at a table, hoping she could shake this uneasy feeling before her shift started.
