'The rain...what a happy way to end this horrible shift,' Raeyna though sarcastically. After a shift with a horrible fight between customers over the last book in stock for some stupid series, a kid throwing up, and one of her bosses fainting, the last thing Raeyna wanted was the rain. Thank goodness she had seen this coming, and brought an umbrella. As she walked home, she immediately got lost in her thoughts, and for some reason found herself in a strange park. Involuntarily, she walked towards the middle of the park, seeing an array of people. Some were in a line, looking powerful and mystical. Others, were glowing an assortment of colors, standing there mystified. Her feet never seemed to stop until they reached their destination, stopping straight in front of a light-brown haired boy. Confused, she saw the boy seem to reach out and attempt to touch her before she noticed that he, and herself as well began to glow a luminescent purple. A sudden feeling of connection with the strange boy swept over her, before she realized what was happening. Picking out her parents, Aphrodite and Moros, from the line of gods and goddesses, she listened intently as they explained this new "bond". Immediately, she opened her mouth to protest, but as soon as she did, she found herself already gone, transported to a lounge of some sorts, along with other unfamiliar faces.
