Michaline watched, snapped her whip, but just a second too late. "All right..." she smiled. She knew the damage it would cause her body, but, she figured that she didn't have much choice. Fangs slid down, piercing her bottom lip, a very long, very smooth tail made it's way from her hem line. Her fingernails lengthened and sharpened into claws, and her red eyes went cat-like. She could see perfectly in the darkness, and her muscles relaxed, ready for the hunt. "I see you, demon." She smiled, and lept silently aftr him, crouching like a cat as she hit the ground. Her tail whipped back and forth as she quickly circled around him. She had to admit, he was fast, but her mother had been a Cat-demonic. Panther, to be more specific. There was no known faster Demonic around. She had him cornered, and he hadn't noticed her yet. She watched carefully, for if he took off, she'd have to take to a rooftop before he got too high. She took out her whip agaon and it slithered through the air with a hiss, wrapping itself firmly and unrelentingly on the Demonic's wrist. She came forth from the shadows, so that he could see her, even in Demonic, half-form. "I told you I'd tie you up first if I had to, didn't I?" She said softly with a sly smile. Without waiting for a response, or a change for him to escape, the Key of Air slid smoothly into the Demon's lock. With a click, it unlocked.

Vincent Hawke
AS the blade hit, Vincent barely contained his wince. He danced away, holding the lance at the ready. "Very well. If this is how it must be, then so be it. I accept your challenege." With that, he lunged, ready to either parry or side roll out of the way. The odd thing about Vincent as the fight went on was, he never once focused on Zenais' blade or face. Just the lock. Always, his eyes were on the lock.
