Jorma was not impressed, in fact, she was quite bored with the display, and with the world in general. Why couldn't everyone just surrender and let her have her way? It seemed the only one who was on her side was Baltor, and she figured that was only because they had been assigned as partners.
"You know what?" She said slowly, wishing they had never started this conversation, "if you would buy Baltor and I some flavoured ice, I guess I can let your mishap slide. I don't know what you need with this funny rabbit girl but I certainly don't need her. Yes, buy us some flavoured ice and we'll call it even." She continued absently stroking the frightened girl's cheek. Flavoured ice would be good in this heat.
