The world was spinning as usual, but Chase couldn’t feel it. The day was dredging on, but his bones and muscles felt tired through all of it. He had a feeling in a few hours he'd feel better. Hopefully. "Not a problem," He said to Ember when she finally awoke and spoke up. He then slid out, standing up and looking around a tad, just taking in the different people around. There. In the back corner. Was that woman.. No.. Couldn't be.

Pain. Judgement. Pain. Judgement; Both emotions flickered from Chase' auspicious dark eyes as he took a step forward, mind blurring with thoughts of his past. He cringed. What was wrong with him? Where the voices coming back? No, it was her. Truly her. Without another second passing, he reached for Ember's hand and looked back to her with a worried expression. "C'mon.. W-we need to go." He said in a whisper, thinking she would here. But wait - how was she here? She was dead, wasn't she? Did she really live through all he put her through? With a deep shaky breath, he dared to turn back to where he had seen her. The woman was gone with the passing wind from the door that had opened moments before. Now he smiled, emotions goign back to normal and he loosened her grip on Ember's hand. "Sorry.. I know it sounds crazy.. Thought I saw someone."

With that, he turned back to her, pulling her hand to his chest and leaned close. "Where do you want to go?" Chase looked into her eyes deeply, trying to read her true emotions. When she answered, he nodded and walked with her to the door, stopping once he reached it. Something.. flashed to his left, a streak of black. He quickly looked towards it and found something. "Calm down Chase.. it's just your mind.. you're going to scare Ember, you idiot." He thought harshly to himself, opening the door and opening it for her with a happy smile. Maybe he was going crazy or something. Or maybe that wench was coming back to haunt him.

"So where is it you want to go again, lo-" He cut himself off, a blush rising to his cheeks. He almost called her love. Almost. Well.. "love?"
