Abel blinked when the boy poked him. The spot where his finger had so violently jabbed him twinged at the contact, and Abel had to exercise some control so as not to flinch. He listened to the boy's complaint before letting out a slow sigh and raising one hand to touch his chest where it was still aching. Sensitive skin never helped. "Then you never should have come in the first place." He kept his voice low pitched so that only the boy would hear it. The guy irritated and amused Abel to an extreme.
He watched the guy seem to stress before turning his head to look over his shoulder to Evania. Welcoming? Me? I was only acting on the wishes of my dear sister. For now. He thought with solemn promise. "That's for you to decide. Perhaps a nice sit down so that we may become familiar with them. I'm not sure." He glanced to Zach as the boy spoke again.
"Look - I'm sorry. No more hostilities. It's dark outside, this place gives me the willies, and I don't like the idea of being locked in with a bunch of people who appear out of thin air." Abel chewed on his lip as his mind digested the strange apology. "Ah-" He broke off with a tense pause before raising a hand to his neck embarrassingly. "Willies? Is that some new term?" He felt a blush creep up his face all the way to his ears. Abel had never been one to hang around friends at the school. He was too busy keeping track of his sisters and trying to stay in trouble because of their parents. He wanted their parents to focus on him but it had useless in the end. So even if the kids had used the word 'Willies' back then, he had never heard it. He quickly turned away to hide his face and walked back up the stairs a bit looking to Evania.
By then his sister had created the idea of a tour. Just great! He lips pursed with barely controlled anger before she shrugged it off and leaned on the railing to look back down to the boy. "So shall we lead you around like horses on a rope or will you follow? However, a dog seems to be more like your personality. Sweet, and loyal. Right?" He sneered, taking amusement out of picking at the boy again. He would leave the rest of the group to his sisters but he had found his prey already and it was simply fantastic to have fun again.
