"Yeah, I guess so. I don't think the Developer will mind seeing how it is getting a bit late in the day." Anter said to Halo. He went to a stand in the middle of the arena and a bright green button emerged from the stand with the company's insignia printed on it. "Well, people better like this." He swung his hand down onto the switch. It blipped several times, then receded into the stand and was replaced by a microphone. All across the V-Game, floating informational hubs appeared wherever there were players.

An electronic voice emmerged from the booths (like the ones in the Desolate Wasteland) and said, To all availabe players, a new area has just been released called the Desolate Wasteland. It's name is its own description. If you want to journey to the grand opening, then you may step into the booth and be teleported to the entrance of the opening festival. The message was looped so any player unaware of this event should hear it sooner or later. They last only for around 3 hours though, seeing how there are so many of them scattered around the endless world.

"That should get their attention." Anter mumbled to himself. He soon saw many of the Game Masters appear from nowhere and took their designated spots. "Took you guys long enough, the Developer and Halo did had to do all the work! I'm really disappointed in you guys." Anter said, shaking his head.

So what did you do then, just sit around like normal? Honestly, I don't understand why the Developer hired you. One Master said back to him. He was like a Elf in the game, but looked more like one in real life. In life, he wasn't the stereotypical tall one's, but looked like an actual 'Santa Elf mixed with an ugly dwarf.' The game just made him taller and gave him good looks. It also armed him with duel blades and several smoke bombs across his white shorts and shirt. His name was Earl in life, but in the game, it was Maxis.

"Yeah, I guess so. Can you leave me alone now? I have to let in the growing number of people now." Anter said looking over at the gate where hundereds of thousands were attempting to pile in, but couldn't due to an unbreakable forcefield. As Anter was walking, he was hit by a stone thrown by Maxis.

I always hated you, so why don't we fight like normal? Maxis said with a devilish grin across his face. You won't beat me like the other times! I will cut you to pieces! He bellowed at him.

"You're lucky that the forcefield is also sound proof or the gamers would hear just how crazy you are." Anter said cooly to Maxis. "Yeah, we can fight, but after the festival. I don't want the Developer to get mad. And just to be safe..." Anter looked down at his shadow, giving it half a soul. It could now watch his back for him just in case Maxis wanted to kill him in the party. He quickly shooed away the angry Maxis and walked over to the entrance. With one swing of his hand, the forcefield broke, letting the players pile in. Before they passed Anter though, he also set up another barrier where their weapons disinigrate as soon as they enter and reappear when they leave. "I want no violence in this festival, understood? Other than that, I want you all to have fun and enjoy the new area!" He joyfully exclaimed to the crowd.

They all piled in going between stands, the towers, and the DJ booth. It was an extremely good turnout so far. Anter walked casually to Halo and said to her, "Enjoyin the party? I hope you are, cause I am." As he said this, his side buzzed and an email appeared. "Can you read it to me please? I'm too tired to read anything else after what I've been doing for two days."
