She inclined her head, an avian motion for curious interest. "Partner, huh? Your a strange human." There was a moment where her expression tensed before she seemed to shrug off the weariness. Zenais ruffled her wings and glanced back to view where the feathers had grown back in. Seems her healing properties were kicking in faster. Lost in her new self, she raised a hand and snapped her fingers lighting a flame in the afterglow of dusk. "Sweet." She whispered in quiet awe. Her grandmother had the power to summon the flames from her blood into the external reality. Now Zenais could do a little bit of the same. She just hoped the power would last. Turning her attention back to her new so called partner, Zenais flapped her wings. "I'll fly. I wanna watch your back from the sky. I can't do anything on horseback."
She didn't let him tell her anything else before she was already gaining altitude. Her wings pushed and controlled the currents of air that swirled around her. She took a small moment to look down, her wings outspread, to watch the speck that was Vincent before flying around him keeping track of his surroundings.
