The next couple of days were 'exciting', Eliza kept getting handed fliers about a rally that was this coming weekend. The rally was intended to get students interested in the up-coming school year and excited about classes. The flier indicated that there would be handouts at the rally letting students know of games for the season as well as various activities the school set up to keep students occupied while they weren't doing homework and where students could go if they started having trouble with certain classes. It also offered free soda, pizza, and hot dogs.

Eliza, not really being an out-going person, didn't really have an interest in going, but she had promised her mother that she would at least try to be sociable and this seemed like a good way to do it. She went through the rest of the week throwing away additional fliers, having one already in her satchel. At last it was Friday. The rally was scheduled for six o-clock PM on Saturday in one of the recreational fields in the middle of campus. Eliza tried not to think about it, she didn't want to get started on social phobia before she was even in the social situation.
