Clarence wasn't expecting to be lifted, so when Zain did so, her breath got caught in her throat and her eyes widened to huge circles. Her arms quickly wrapped around Zain's neck, and rather tightly. She realized that she might've been choking him so she, reluctantly, loosened them muttering a soft, "Sorry," while doing so.

She looked at him, hearing a strange tone in his voice as he mentioned that 'Tamer' was cooler than 'Bonder', and cocked her head slightly to one side. Seeing that he wasn't going to explain it, she decided not to ask. Instead she looked around at her settings, at some points leaning back slightly to see upside down, which made her laugh.

"Where are we going?" she asked finally, a very small note of worry in her question. When she didn't know where this guy that she had just met was taking her, she had suddenly got a sinking feeling in her gut that this could possibly be a prank concocted by the other students and Zain was taking her to her doom. She tried her best not to think this and tried to trust that Zain was not part of some evil prank, but that feeling in her stomach wouldn't go away.
