Vincent turned around, wondering who would address him as such. It couldn't be one of his students. Batoru would have singed the tops of their heads for their insolence. He turned to find himself looking at the Slayer Mira and her dragon. Slayer. Those kind disgust me. I don't want one of them to observe us. They could use it against us someday. Batoru's tone in his mind was restrained anger and mistrust. Vincent felt similarly, if not exactly the same. Vincent crossed his arms before addressing Mira. Batoru's chest glowed slightly brighter. It was a habit when he was preparing for an encounter.
"Do what you want. You are a member of this place as much as I, though I'm not as trusting."
