The hound screeched and hissed in anger as his kill was thwarted by this chicken legged girl. His blade ricocheted back from its collision with her staff as the ting of metal on metal rang out in the air. It towered over the girl looking at her hungrily. Its prey had already run, but it was no matter. Any Nightbane would do. The master would be pleased with the hound and it would be rewarded for this kill. And perhaps, if it was lucky, this prey would taste how she looked. Like chicken.

It made a hissing laugh and the hound licked its lips with its forked tongue. "You let my prey essscape girl, but the massster will be pleasssed with you asss well," the hound hissed down at her before raising its blade once more; the jagged edges gleaming in the moonlight. Then with surprising speed it struck downwards at the girl fully confident that it would win. It was just another untrained Nightbane playing hero it thought. She would not present a challenge.
