Aaron twiddled his thumbs as he sat alone, the party had just started and he was already feeling uncomfortable. Then all of a sudden, he felt the couch he was occupied on shift a little, it made him shift his gaze sideways and noticed that a girl about his age was sitting right next to him. She was wearing a silky, smooth dress, which complemented her in so many ways, it brought out her eyes in an a deeply sense. When she introduced herself, he couldn't get anything out to say. Like the saying goes, cat caught his tongue and it was bad. He flicked the stray strands of his hair away from his face, and managed to let out a soft smile.
"I-I'm Aaron, nice t-to meet you." he stuttered at first, but after clearing his throat he was fine. Well, if fine was a tiny voice, he swore he sounded like a little girl with his childish voice. Inhaling a deep breathe, he decided that he should say something again. This might just be the only person who speaks to him tonight, and he wasn't going to scare her away with his awkwardness. If his school life thought him anything, it was that you should take every opportunity to make friends, even if that means breaking out of your shell. "So, Mary... Do you know who organized this party?" he tilted his head sideways as he questioned, he was genuinely curious about the matter. Who would invite the 'shy kid' to a party?
