Kirenai's eyes narrowed. Normally he would comply, just to keep her happy, but he heard a strange howling eariler.... "Perhaps. But I've hear a rumor going around that there would be a party this evening. Assuming we get an invitation,-" Kirenai was not the most liked of vampires, thanks to his bad habits and unsocaible personality. "-would you like to attend that instead?"

A twig snap rang through the crisp evening air. Kirenai tensed, instinctively inching a little closer to his human. The vampire's gaze swet through the forest, combing it with practiced eyes. Ahh yes. Movement. He couldn't really make out distinct shapes, but Kirenai could tell that there was definatly something furry out there. Was that it? An animal? Something told Kirenai that was not the case.

He leaned over Delilah, whispering in her ear. "If I give you the signal, run." The signal was Kirenai tapping his head, but he had no intention of using it. Why would his human have to run away from something in his own lair? But just in case.

He saw a shape coming from the forest. A man.... Vampire? Perhaps it was the invitation Kirenai himself was just talking about. The vampire stepped foreward, and lazed on the balconey railings. Kirenai looked down upon the newcomer. He was tall, with dark hair and held himself like someone who was used to being in charge. But whatever. It wasn't like Kirenai was a good judge of character iin the first place. He saw the man was followed by another, though Kirenai couldn't clearly make out whatever it was yet.

The vampire was slightly insulted. It was incredibly rude for a stranger to visit another vampire's house without warning, but then again Kirenai had never been one for that kind of hautiness. So instead he just gazed down with practiced ease, used to being higher than most people.
