Her heart raced a little. "Definitely," she breathed, excitement coursing through her veins. She would have said more, but Kirenai suddenly moved closer to her and her face reddened in embarrassment. What had caught his attention? Delilah hadn't heard anything in particular that would have been a problem. However, she kept her lips shut and she watched her partner as his sharp eyes scanned the forest just off the balcony.

The flush on her face only deepened when he leaned over her to speak in her ear. "S-sure," she replied, knees feeling unceremoniously weak. Bright blue eyes followed his lean frame as he moved to the balcony railing. She'd heard his warning, yes, but her curiosity was getting the better of her. The girl inched a little closer towards the railing, just far enough until she could see who Kirenai was so focused on.

He was dark haired, sturdy, and - above all else - handsome. Delilah caught herself before she stared too long. What was she thinking? Her gaze flickered to Kirenai before they returned to the stranger. She was in love with Kirenai. It wasn't right for her to look upon other men. It was then that she realized that this young man, whoever he was, would most likely be a vampire. She slapped a hand over her bite mark. Her blood felt warm and her neck was sore, the skin tender. Why did vampires like it, she wondered. It was something she'd never understand.
