Something was definitely not right with the situation. Delilah could feel it in her bones, in her blood. But she kept her lips sealed, curious as to how things would play out. She blinked as Kirenai's arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her to him. A light flush colored her pale cheeks."Kirenai," she murmured under her breath, voice embarrassed. "What're you doing..?" It wasn't like she didn't like being close to him. On the contrary, she felt much better when she was closer. Maybe it just made her feel safe. The two vampires down below were a little overwhelming, after all.

Her attention turned back to the dark-haired vampire when he spoke. Draven. It was an unfamiliar name and was odd on her tongue, but she accepted the lie without a second thought that it could be fake. She eyed him as he spoke, taking in every detail: his eyes, the curl of his lips, the way he held himself. Kirenai and Draven - or who she believed was Draven - had appearances that were like exact opposites. One had black hair, one had white; one was tan, one was not. It was interesting, in a sense. She couldn't help but wonder if this new character was an opposite in personality as well.

"Why don't we let them stay?" Delilah asked her vampire, feeling a little sympathetic after hearing their story. "If our home had been destroyed by Hybrids, I'm sure they would have taken us in." She wasn't sure if she was doing this just to be nice or because of the curiosity that was building up. "We have the two spare bedrooms in the basement. The third could stay in my bedroom. I could sleep in your room with you." She innocently twisted a strand of turquoise hair around her index finger. Her other hand lifted from her neck and she examined the blood. By now her neck would have healed: she tended to heal quickly after being bitten.
