Valese sat on the couch in the apartment looking at the clock, "She should have been home already somethings wrong", she said with an almost sad tone of voice. She didn't like being alone, "Well I guess I'll go look for her", she said as she slipped on her shoes and jacket. She walked to the corner store and asked the clerk if Michaline had been through, he knew Michaline well cause she would come to the store when she was bored allot. He shook his head and said he hadn't seen her, this worried Valese as she left the store, "Where is she?", she said aloud in the night.

She knew there was a little coffee shop not to far away so she straightened her dress and started for the shop. There was a waitress about to close the door as Valese came up the walk, "Pardon me but have you seen...", she described Michaline; there was always a draw of humans to them so she knew that the waitress would remember her. "Yes I saw a young woman that fits that description, she was having coffee with a very handsome young man and they left together. They seemed to know each other very well and he was flirting allot, but she didn't seem interested; in fact I think he must of been an ex-boyfriend or something cause she seemed awfully pissed at him", said the waitress.

Valese's eyes went wide, "Thank you", she said as she hurried around a corner and into an alley, she knew who the waitress was talking about and that meant that Michaline was fighting somewhere. "James..", she said in breath, she transformed into her half dragon form and took to the skies cause that would be the fastest way to find her sister.
