An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind, or so the saying goes. It seemed the immortal gods however had other ideas and the actions spoke volumes on their attitudes to vengence.

The water goddess was organising her people with a divine purpose, each man, women and child being organised into houses that focused their crafts and united them in various purposes. From warriors, to hunters, traders and crafters, even poisoners. People had trades and guidance on what to do and how to do it. With the hunter gather age over people began to get smarter too on how they dealt with animals, only killing off the ones which helped the animals prosper. Ensuring that there would always be plenty of food or at least no sudden shortages. Fishing too began to spread out its work rather than fish areas into barren water, a more careful and methodical approach.

With the holy pact between Bellegar and Morgana fully underway her people now had a forest too call their own as well, the lumber from it providing the materials for stronger houses, buildings and even the first rafts and small scale boats. Nothing ocean worthy but it aided them in fishing a little deeper off shore than the beaches, allowing them to bring back greater catches with their simple nets and spears. Her people were developing, even becomming quite fine shots with bows now that they had the wood to make better ones. And for each tree felled an offering was made at the shrine of Bellegar. A few of the craftsmen and woodsmen even taking to duel worship, praying to the shrine as they ventured out to do their days work.

They were by far and away the most advance civilisation now, toying with primitive writting and glyphs. A social structure that had a deep family and class system, not to mention what appeared to be the most organised religion. With priestesses and healers to symbolise their goddess and to crown it off, the new worlds first temple. Construction was finially complete on the grand thing, a stone base with wooden pillars and an ornately carved roof. Inside there were small pools everywhere, crystal clear water with a statue of the goddess in the centre of the temple. People came regularly to pray, some stayed there perminately. Worshipping and making a living serving those who also came to worship. It was a powerful beacon of godly power and belief.

Power rushed to the goddess although revenge for the Fire Gods actions seemed her goal. Using his newly created river against him, a deadly breed of watterons was created to travel down it to attack Obsidia itself! Poisoned watterons, green elementals of flowing, corrupted water. Her plan worked for the most part, they swam down the river at frightening speed and emerged on the banks of the river. With them an image of the goddess herself, spiting the fire god right back after he had used water against her and made his own miracle river.

Poisoned watterons began attacking people, slaying a few outright, their poison near meaningless as the glass daggers did little to defend against their wrath. The elite 30 or so templars that were created were also away, spreading the faith, leaving the city guarded only by the flame archons, which silently rushed to push out the invaders. A small battle raged from the raid against Obsidia, people fleeing from the elementals and those who got between their wrath dying swiftly. Steam would errupt as either died, water being cancelled out or flame. Although the steam was noxious and poisonous to those who breathed it in before it dissapated, luckily the Archons were not effected though.

Finially the raid had been vanquished but a terrible price had been paid, many of the hovels and huts near the river contained dead, many too of the Archons had been slain in their duty. It seemed the raid had made its point about who controlled the water, although making it crystal clear was strange colour the water had turned. Poisoned watterons at the head of the river, flooding it with their corruption and letting it flow downstream. None dared touch it waters and those who did soon became ill although their foolishness wasnt repeated often.

Chath had a problem, his actions had angered another god and now his miracle had been turned against him. His people grieving at the turn of events as they set about burning the dead, although water was going to become a problem soon as Obsidia had risen too new hights. The largest single city in the world, however such a city needed plenty of water and food if it was to survive in the desert. Both were now in short supply. Not to mention the prospect of war with Bellegar who was stomping around in his direction, however it would be some time before that became an immediet threat. The desert itself a formidable barrier that no army could cross without amply supplies of water and protection from a giant dragon.
