War was underway and fire was responding with a furious blaze, or at least the threat of war. The army of Bellegar was still within his own lands and realm but its destination was known, not to mention blood had been drawn. A missonary of Chath slain by the God of Earth.

In response fire retallated with furious activity, his people being organised into rapid action. The needs of survival came first though and water was paramount in the desert. The effective and wrathful tactics of the water goddess had tainted the new glass river, fouling the miracle. However under the instruction of their god the people managed to prevent all but the first deaths. Boiling their water and clensing it from impurities was not an ideal solution but one that worked none the less.

Secondly food was still an issue, dispite their gods wishes farming did not come to the desert yet. Chaths power had waned, his scythe's aura shrinking as the divine power weakened. Not to mention they lacked the animals or mushrooms like the others.

Action was taken to prevent starvation though as the city of Obsidia was divided. Two great exodus's left from it, one north east, the other south east.

In the south the town of Katar was formed, once a tiny fishing village it grew almost overnight as the people arrived in droves and began to fish the ocean heavily. Trade immedietly sprang up to the hungry Obsidians as now they had a fine food source to sustain them. In return the new forges and the mines under mt hubris churned out weapons and tools for the people, the bronze age was well underway.

The second group of pilgrims to the north, under the protectful watch of their god travelled to the head of their river. Chath himself gathered up all the surrounding tribes and converted them to his own people, who all watched as Morgana appeared as Chath beseetched her for peace.

The lady of water it seemed agreed, her point made at least. For her watterons of poison departed from the land and back to their goddess domain, leaving the fire god to established his third town. One surrounded by rivers on the border with the forest.

In each city templars trained people to fight from every walk of life and age, the starting of army it seemed. The people learned to use bronze swords and weapons, most of them quickly learning the basics. However it was ONLY the start of an army, such things took times and dispite Chaths wishes he would not have an army for his Gifted to lead just yet. Nor would he have the fort's he wanted. His people had no experiance with wood and had only managed basic structures in the north, it would take time before it was fortified. Not to mention his people were still new to the way of the swords. However a Gifted had departed to each city to govern and run it in accordance to Chath's teachings.

His "Prophets" set their minds to it though however they were far too occupied working on the shrines and the potential plans for a temple. One shrine in the desert was build and another in the town of Katar. The temple hadnt begun though for his people had schools to construct and army training grounds, not to mention the mine under Hubris to maintain. The rest would have to wait.

The fire God Chath however was not going to rest, the last of his power was used to create a new race. Suo-ata as they were called, a brutal race of dragon like lizardmen who spawned from the desert in vast number.

They wasted no time rushing north into the forests, being too dim witted for building they prefered the thick green growth as the forests provided them with everything they need. Immedietly they divided into tribes and fought amongst themselves, killing and eating their own including hunting for animals. It was during one of these hunts that the plague of monster lizards encounted Bellegar's army. War broke out immedietly as blood was shed, lizard blood though as the army was too strong for a lone tribe of hunters. Suo-ata were not a united front but their nature gave them an animalistic cunning, they began to ambush Bellegar's scouts and outriders. Killing any who they could catch alone.

The forests soon became filled with violence, lizardmen fighting lizardmen, lizardmen fighting men and lizardmen fighting Thorin. It was not enough to stop the army of Bellegar but it was enough to slow it down, making the whole process far more dangerous.

A meeting, the first of its kind also took place. Two mighty avatar gods trading words, Chath ordering the withdraw of Bellegar, which was met with a denial of authority. For no one god had the right to order another, which lead to more fury from Chath as his domination was denied. His missionary withheld from him.

Fire spread into the forest itself, trees burning as they were consumed in the breath of the great dragon. However it did not go as Chath planned, his flames halted the army but did nothing more. His power weak and so far from his worship ment that it didnt have the energy needed to consume the entire forest. Not to mention he was more in Bellegar's land, which stiffled the power of the fire god to only a small blaze.

The world waited with baited breath, armies were being build, a new monstrous race had emerged and war seemed inevitable. How it would turn out remained to be seen. Most importantly perhaps was if the wind goddess would invole herself in the fued between the gods, a fire bird had been sent to to her domain and bringing words. It could perhaps change the fate of everything.
