Wind was blowing strong and the people of the north were slowly increasing their claim on the land, their culture refining and expanding itself as their customs grew and their crafts increased.

The great central monolith had become the centre of the land, not a city but more a giant trade post for the old and the infirm. Those unable to travel instead of abandoned finially had a place to live and be productive in the name of the goddess, which in turn attracted those who wanted a more settled life. It hadnt taken long for the pillar of stone to become a trading post town full of people hawking their wares and prospering off the half year gatherings.

The half year gatherings had become more than just a focal point for the nomandic tribes to worship but also to test their skill, as per their goddess orders they had taken to the bow and the knife. Suble weapons that they used with excellent skill, not just because it was a weapon but because it was what they used to eat. Those who couldnt shoot their prey didnt last long out on the harsh, cold tundra of the north. Especially during the fierce winter. Her people though were innovative as they were resourcesful, wasting nothing and finding a use for everything.

The new beasts or "beakalo" as they were known provided a new rich food source for her people and they no longer had to scratch a living off the hard land. With new meat her people grew strong and healthy, even taller as they had more protien. They revered the animals for their life giving quality and they became sacred in their own right, before the beakalo they had nearly starved on occassion. All was well and the herds prospered, the natives making sure they never over hunted the sacred beasts.

However the world being the way it was and talk of war in the south, even the air goddess couldnt simply let her people go by unaffected. As instructed by their loving goddess they ventured south to the harpies, stopping to pay tribute with new beakalo flesh. With that done they expanded into the valleys below the mountains, taking some of their beakalo with them for food as they did not wish to be parted from the animals. They set up a new nomadic route, a long one following the river to explore and also encounter new tribes. They ventured far before finially they set up a stable route, following the land as the seasons changed.

One thing however was the new beasts, they didnt all stay with the pilgrims from the north. Newly introduced to the fertile plains of the east they expanded like an explosion of life, it wasnt long before large herds of them were roaming about. No natural predators to follow them they flew where they liked and grazed on the lush plains of grass. It seemed that many indeed would be enjoying the beakalo's taste. From the desert people freshly entering the eastern lands, or the Lady Morgana's own hunters. A far cry from her exlusionary diplomacy which refused the fire gods warmongering call.

Still power came to Arianrhod as she guided her people to success. The north fully claimed and now even a claim on the eastern plains.
