"Really?" Tia snapped sarcastically at May. "Let's go before we die." She slowly stood up, looking around. "I lost my flashlight, but let's go. Oh, and please tell me you heard your voice that time. You sounded like a demon dog. But thanks. A lot." She wasn't the best at thank yous, and now wasn't the time to give one. They needed to find the others before they all ended up like Andrew and Link. She grabbed May's hand and started running back down the long hallway blindly, towards the stairs. By now May's injury wasn't even in her head.

She had completely forgotten about the broken stair and fell through again. She let out a short yelp and let go of May, falling forward onto her face. Blood covered the stairs as she yanked her foot out of the gap in the bottom stair again. "Stupid wood. Matt! Kat! Emmett!" Tia began screaming as she started running up the stairs two at a time. She didn't even stop to see if her friend was coming.

"Guys! We need to leave!" she yelled again, making her way into the hallway and looking around. All of the halls looked the same, she hardly knew which room they had come in. She ran into a wall, then a broken bed frame in the hall. "Emmett! Matt! Kat!" Tia yelled again, hoping her friends were ok. Her eyes scanned the darkness for any sort of trouble, though she had a feeling the spirits weren't going to openly show themselves.
