Desmond nodded his head and walked over to the girl. "Hold still." Desmond raised his blade high and brought it down on the chain, cracking it heavily. He sheathed his sword and grabbed the chain, using his own strength to break the weakened area from the sword. "We have to get out her out of here quick, before we blow the place up sky high." He turned to the girl and held out his hand. "You okay to walk?" He had been able to free her from the actual chain, but the shackle was still attached which might cause her to slow down. Desmon had neither the tools nor the time to remove it so he hoped she would bear with it for now.
