Mari nodded when Jack said she should continue eating, that's when she noticed all the commotion going on, some girl had the gall to bring a bento box. Mari shook her head, "How stupid can you get", she thought as she ate the last bite of the concoction that she had made with the three ingredients. And she shrugged when the girl proceeded to get the crap beat out of her. Nothing worse then what Mari has seen or experienced in her own home. Then she heard it...

"Non stop marching you've got to be shitting me", she said under her breath, but all she could do was line up like she was told.

"Very Well: Anyone who volunteers, simply move to the front. But I do not want too many! only the 'strongest!''

Mari wasn't about to stand back, she stepped up to the front of the line without a word, no man was going to sit around and tell her she was weak; so if the strongest were going to be up front Mari was going to be there. She looked behind her to see if anyone would follow, "Pshh Pussies", she said under her breath; this wasn't hard dealing with Yakuza was easier than dealing with her father on an eight day drunk.

"Lets do this and if anyone gets in my way I'll just let my fists do the talking", she said as she stood behind Jack. He looked quite magnificent standing there holding the flag, she could feel her cheeks begin to flush as she thought.

Finally she shook the thought from her head and stood up straight, "The last thing I need is to start having fantasies about boys", she thought. Even though Mari hated perverted guys it was the nice gentlemanly guys that made her blush. The ones that had respect for woman and still were strong enough to protect them, the guys the were the complete opposite of her father.
